We Became FSC™ Certified in 2022
We are proud to announce we became FSC™ Certified from 01 March 2022 proving both Ramko and our production facilities are FSC™ Chain-of-Custody (CoC) certificate holders. This means packaging we produce using FSC™ certified materials can show the official FSC™ Logo and our code. This shows it is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and therefore meets the "gold standard" of ethical production, whereby the raw material to make the paper is harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.
FSC™ is a non-profit organization with the mission of "promoting environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests. FSC™ offers two types of certifications, Forest Management and Chain-of-Custody to improve forest management and supply chain practices. Under this umbrella, there are three main symbols which are used on products and we regularly use raw materials from all three categories:
FSC™ 100%
The wood within the product comes entirely from FSC-certified well managed forests.
FSC™ Recycled
All the wood or paper in the product comes from reclaimed or re-used material.
FSC™ Mix
The wood within the product is from FSC-certified forests, recycled material or “controlled wood”.
